Accord Vibes
The origin — a duo, not a trio. Accord Vibes had its official debut on 6 March 2011 at Cafeteca Brașov: just Alexandru Anastasiu (vibraphone) and Fernando Mihalache (accordion) — the first vibraphone-and-accordion jazz duo in Romania. The first series was produced by Sniper Media. The opening repertoire: Richard Galliano musette waltzes alongside originals signed Anastasiu.
The line-up later expanded to a trio with the addition of double bass. The trio's founding bassist was Michael Acker, present at the Brașov and Cluj Cafeteca dates in 2011, the Râșnov Beats 2012 festival, the George Enescu Festival (9 September 2011, the Festival Square), and on the album Just Musette (2013). Around 2016 — alongside the release of Piazzolla, just Tango — the bass chair passes to Cezar Knihinschi, the trio's current line-up.
